The Usual Suspects

This is just a day in the life. 

Since this is "by the family, for the family" I figured I better give you a run-down of who that does (and does not) include:

Cowboy/Papa P/Dad

He never ceases the moment to turn a regular gathering into a "program"

He loves his kids

And his kids love him

He is rarely seen without a cap

He loves a good gift

Concerning my dad, I could pen a short novel. Scratch that, a long novel. More like a non-fiction masterpiece. Of course not because I wrote it, but because of what my dad would have put into it.

See, I know there are a lot of gals out there who would claim  "I have the best dad"and I'm clearly one of them. But I really, 100% mean it. And it's really, 100% true. I don't know how he's done it, but he's managed to phenomenally raise nine kids. Part of that time on his own. I have wondered  how I could ever write down on all of the ways he's been such a incredible father in my lifetime.

He's real. He's never tried to make us think he was a perfect father. In fact, there has been so many times that he as apologized for not being a better dad.
